Between The Bread, a high-end, corporate, off-premises catering company is looking for a Sales, Catering & Manager; Events Manager to sell catering & events. In this role the primary focus is to help grow our events revenue. In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining your sales goals and relationships with existing and new clients. Responsibilities include: • Developing, nurturing and growing relationships with existing and potential clients through phone calls, emails and client meetings • Coordinating the organization of events from inception to execution including; menu development, proposals, contracts, deposits, rentals, staffing, delivery, setup and décor • Communicating with clients effectively and as needed during the planning process for their event in a timely and professional manner including walk through, appearance or attendance at the event as appropriate. • Performing after event follow-up with clients to express our appreciation for their business and asking for future referrals. Qualifications: • Ideal candidate must be a competent sales person who knows how to close a deal, must know about food & beverage and be able to plan events and celebrations. Corporate contacts are useful. • Bachelor Degree in Hospitality or Marketing preferred • A minimum of 2-year experience in Hospitality Sales, Catering and Events Planning, preferred • Excellent Communication skills with emphasis on oral communications and presenting to diverse audiences • Maintains professional appearance at all times, clean and well-groomed • Computer proficient (word, excel, ppt) Between The Bread is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
