Job Summary: Benefits Coordinator along with the Senior Benefits Administrator, HR Manager and Global Director will identify, evaluate and streamline and automate benefits related processes to fully utilize HRIS (UltiPro). Additionally, this position will assist the HR team in handling day to day matters and support the HR inbox. This position will be split evenly between benefits and general HR duties. Responsibilities: • Assist the Senior Benefits Administrator with weekly payroll entry for promotions, transfers, job title and other changes; • Assist the Senior Benefits Administrator with 401K file feeds from UltiPro to 401K provider, 401K loans and deferral changes; • Administer life events, Open Enrollments and new hires for benefits; • Administer FMLA, LOA, STD, LTD and other unpaid or paid leaves pertaining to benefits; • Assist the Senior Benefits Administrator to ensure timely payment to all benefits vendors; • Administer FSA and HSA, if applicable; • Provide timely and accurate answers to employee questions on Group Health Plan, claims, etc.; • Assist Senior Benefits Administrator in Coordinating with all benefits consultants/brokers on all benefits related items; • Assist in preparation of reports, including 1095c, AAP, EEP-1, Veteran’s report, etc.; • Assist the Senior Benefits Administrator for the following: correspondence for Evidence of Insurance, Dependent Right Notices, Insurance confirmation and Family and Medical leave; • Support the HR inbox; and • Other job-related duties as required by Management Qualifications: • Up to 4 years’ experience in Benefits and the HR department of large a company; • Bachelor’s degree required; • Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality; • Outstanding written and oral communication skills; • Self-starter capable of working independently; • Experience working effectively as part of a team; and • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Essential Job Functions: • This is a sedentary position in an office setting that requires sitting for extended periods of time and regular use of a phone and a PC. • May require some travel on need basis • Position requires employee to occasionally get up to move about to send and retrieve documents or perform other office duties. • Occasional stooping and bending needed An Equal Opportunity Employer It is the policy of Pilot Air Freight to consider all applications for any position without regard to a person’s race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation or genetics.
