THIS INTERNSHIP IS COLLEGE CREDIT ONLY. You must be eligible for college credit, otherwise we will not move forward with your application. The Park Showroom is searching high and low to find a few rising stars interested in learning more about the Men's & Women's fashion industry. This internship will help you gain hands-on experience into the business of running and operating a clothing brand and the many ways you can help that company grow. Located in the heart of downtown's fashion district. We currently represent over 16 brands from all over the world such as VELVET, Goorin Bros, Steven Alan, and LENNI the Label along with many others. Our showroom's main duty is to take the brands we work with and help them grow by expanding and increasing their in-store presence around the country. We are searching for anyone possessing a creative mind, willingness to learn, and have aspirations in developing their career. If you want to find out more please feel free to follow us on all our social networks: @theparkshowroom @mediaplaypr Responsibilities We are looking for dedicated, hard working people to assist our sales reps with day to day tasks including sample intake, trade show attendance, merchandising, data entry and phone calls. *MUST BE OKAY WITH showroom maintenance, packing, and hanging samples up* *MUST HAVE A PASSION FOR THE FASHION INDUSTRY* Job responsibilities may also include: • Merchandising the showroom • Helping assist in market appointments • Creating and updating immediate inventory line sheets • Assisting with content creation for various social media channels • Helping to prepare for and to work at local trade shows • Tracking/delivering samples and maintaining sample inventory • Researching target accounts • Visiting accounts throughout the city • Creating marketing materials for account outreach • Greeting buyers arriving for showroom appointments We are able to offer college credit, and there is an opportunity for employment for individuals who exhibit strong work ethic. Candidates must have interest and experience in fashion. Requirements Strong listening skills and a positive attitude. Professional phone manner. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills - Excel, Microsoft word, Outlook, and Google Drive. Detail orientated and the ability to multi-task. Bonus: Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator proficient.
