Description Responsible for direct supervision of Therapist and Mentors. Also responsible for oversight of documentation in required systems (e.g., Connections, PROMIS, etc.). Responsible for the Key Performance Indicators of the program, evidence based model, and Division of Youth and Family Justice (DYFJ) Conducts coaching and mentoring and group supervision with the treatment team at the main office, alternate office, or in the community as needed. Appropriately plans for group and 1:1 supervision by using structured agenda and by pulling appropriate reports to monitor cases and to report out during clinical meetings with AVP. Ensures that all of our youths’ needs are addressed begins with school-based advocacy and collaborative relationships with the New York State Department of Education (DOE). Reviews intake, psychosocial, and on-going assessment including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and developing assessments of problem behaviors within the ecological context. Intakes and psychosocial to be reviewed within program timelines and expectations. Reviews and approve documentation (daily contacts, progress notes, treatment reviews, incident reports, case(s) closure, and on) in order to monitor for Program Quality Assurance, adherence to the model, evidence informed processes, agency policy and OMH guidance, and per contractual requirements. Participates in Coaching and mentoring weekly to 3 times per month with AVP as well as monthly work groups with supervisor, AVP, and/or VP. Participates in bi-weekly clinical meetings with AVP to review service delivery and case progression. Participates in any meeting requested by the FAP, ACS, Evidence Based Model, and/or identified program stakeholder. Responsible for CQI process for the team and reviews reports for internal review and possible external review. Responsible for participating in clinical case review process with PQA team. Supports the team in understanding NYC Education system, reviewing IEP, setting education plan, and model Qualifications: • 3 years experience in family therapy and positive behavior management techniques, mentoring, advocacy, or mental health treatment. • Two years of experience as a supervisor preferred. • Experience working with youth and have knowledge of the juvenile justice system. • Bilingual preferred Qualifications Education Required Master's level degree or better in Social Work or related field. Preferred Master's level degree or better in Mental Health Counseling or related field. Master's level degree or better in Psychology or related field. Experience Required 3 years: Previous experience in family therapy, mentoring, advocacy or mental health treatment 2 years: Previous supervisory experience Licenses & Certifications Preferred LMHC Licensed MSW
