A unique opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life, and to improve your career by learning a highly demanded skill of ABA - Applied Behavior Analysis A Friendly Face, ABA Therapy Agency and Autism Treatment Center, is inviting college students majoring in Psychology, ABA, Special Ed, or related fields, college graduates, and other individuals interested to work with special needs population, to join our team. Candidates will be trained and will become a Board Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) delivering Applied Behavior Analysis, a special method of teaching, to ASD patients ages 3-17. After successful completion of the mandatory training course and becoming board certified, technicians will be offered a position to work on the case under supervision of BCBA. For students studying or planing to become BCBA/BCABA -we offer supervision. RBT Hiring Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in related field or “on track” for bachelor’s degree (at-least 2 years of college or equivalent) Work experience with children with special needs preferred ABA experience highly preferred Training Steps: Three workshops offered on Saturdays 9am-12pm, where BCBA will cover the basic principles of ABA. A minimum of 3 training observations of an experienced RBT, and a minimum of 3 hands-on training with a client with an experienced RBT 40 hour online RBT coursework and Pass the RBT exam of BACB After training period, hourly pay is $17-$25/hr commensurate to education and experience. Any sub work after Training Period will be paid full time RBT pay.
