The Automotive Sales Consultant is responsible for selling new or used vehicles of the dealership. Responsibilities: • Responsible for all facets of the vehicle sales/lease process from greeting the customer to delivery of the vehicle and (related follow up), subject to responsibilities expressly reserved for management • Consistently follows road to sale as set forth by management (i.e. walk around, test drive, needs analysis, etc.) • Maintains minimum target sales goals set by upper management • Displays excellent customer service skills, including without limitation: Managing difficult or challenging customer situations; responding promptly to customer needs; soliciting customer feedback to improve service; responding to requests for service and assistance; meeting commitments to customers and management • Works effectively with, and assists, other Sales Consultants, co-employees and dealership management to create and maintain effective customer relationships and sell, lease, or deliver vehicles • Completes accurate paperwork accompanying vehicle sales • Maintains highest ethical standards and utilizes legal and ethical selling techniques • Maintains CSI scores and survey returns at or above company standards • Demonstrates knowledge of product knowledge and market conditions relating to vehicle lease/sales • Requires minimal supervision and uses resources efficiently and effectively and seeks feedback to improve performance
